Location
On the dorsum of the foot, between the first and second metatarsal bones, in the depression distal to the junction of the bases of the two bones, over the dorsalis pedis artery.
How to find it
Slide proximally from the web between the first and second toes until the finger stops between the two bones.
Functions
Spreads Liver qi, subdues Liver yang and wind, regulates menstruation, calms the spirit.
Indications
Headache, dizziness, hypertension, irritability, menstrual disorders, foot pain.
Anxiety and irritability
Contraindications & precautions
Attention Avoid the dorsalis pedis artery.
Technique
Perpendicular or oblique toward the heel 0.5–1 cun.
