Purpose
Activate the channel, dispel wind-cold-damp, relieve pain.
Diagnosis
Channel obstruction (bi) on LI/TE/SI; channel diagnosis by palpation.
Symptoms
Shoulder pain with restricted movement.
Treatment order
Distal points first (ST38 toward BL57 while moving the shoulder), then local.
Technique
Needling, EA on local points, moxibustion in cold patterns.
Frequency
2–3 times a week, 10 sessions.
