Shoulder pain — Tung (distal, contralateral)

Purpose
Relieve pain through distal points while the shoulder moves (Dong Qi).
Diagnosis
Kidney/shoulder reaction area; palpate tender points on the opposite leg.
Symptoms
Shoulder pain, frozen shoulder.
Treatment order
Dao Ma on the contralateral leg; the patient moves the shoulder while the needles are retained.
Technique
Dao Ma, Dong Qi; bloodletting of dark veins around the shoulder in chronic cases.
Frequency
Twice a week.
